I am currently completing my six-month internship at Fraunhofer USA CMB in Newark, Delaware. In Germany, I am enrolled in the third semester of the M. Sc. course in Molecular and Applied Biotechnology at the RWTH Aachen University.

Being awarded the chance to work at a prestigious research organization like Fraunhofer USA CMB is an incredible opportunity for me, and I have seized it wholeheartedly. I am majoring in the industrial production of diagnostics in my master’s degree at the RWTH Aachen University and the internship fits perfectly into my field of interests. As I intend to further extend my education with a Ph.D. in this field, this internship will contribute to my further academic and future professional goals.

As an exchange student, I am not only a guest in the United States of America, but also an ambassador of RWTH Aachen University and Germany. The internship at Fraunhofer USA CMB is a superb opportunity to advance my professional career, as well as my personal and intellectual development.
