Fraunhofer USA
I have been interning at Fraunhofer USA Center-Mid-Atlantic (CMA) from June to December 2024. Fraunhofer CMA has offered me a great opportunity to enhance my expertise in the development of AI applications and the testing of complex software solutions. The professional experience I gained here will benefit my computer science graduate studies as well as my future career. I always felt very welcome in the research team and was always supported whenever I had a professional or personal question.
In addition to my work at Fraunhofer CMA, I really enjoyed living in the US and especially Washington D.C. The people I met were always super friendly, and I made some good friends during my time here. Also, the workplace is very close to the University of Maryland, which enabled me to join their recreational center, where one can do any sort of sports imaginable.
I am glad that I took the risk to come to the US for an internship at Fraunhofer CMA, and I would do it all over again.
